The 50-Year Member Recognition is presented to Bro. Thurmond Tillman who has achieved the distinguished milestone of fifty years of membership in Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.
This honor celebrates a lifetime of dedication, loyalty, and commitment to the fraternity’s ideals of achievement, brotherhood, and service. Over five decades, he has witnessed the growth and
evolution of the fraternity while helping to preserve its traditions, values, and legacy for future generations. Through his enduring support, wisdom, and steadfast devotion to Kappa Alpha Psi, he serves as an inspiration to brothers of all ages and stands as a testament to the lifelong bond of fraternity.
It is with great honor that we recognize our brother, who was initiated on May 21, 1976 at the University of West Georgia Chapter, the Theta Kappa of Kappa Alpha Psi. He is a life member and has served the Southeastern Province as Province Chaplain from 1983 – 2008. He has served as Undergraduate Advisor for the Savannah State University Chapter, the Gamma Chi of Kappa Alpha Psi and currently serves as a
member of the Bylaws Committee for Savannah (GA) Alumni. He is also a recipient of the Joseph R. Jenkins Award, the highest honor bestowed upon a member of the Southeastern Province.
