Forgotten Places Society Nearly two decades of clearing shadows, preserving history, and helping beauty bloom again. Because the wildest flowers grow in the roughest dirt.

From paranormal investigations and urban exploring to spreading hope, healing and spiritual wellness through stories, art, photography, music and more.. Forgotten Places Society is a soulful, small-town brand rooted in nearly two decades of paranormal research, history, urban exploration, and spiritual storytelling. We began in 2006 as a paranormal investigation team — chasing shadows, preserving history, and holding space for the things most folks overlook. Over time, we’ve witnessed lives changed, shadows cleared, and faith restored. Today, our journey continues through a blend of art, photography, energy work, and handmade natural items — shared at festivals, markets, and wandering road trips across West Tennessee, North Mississippi, and North Alabama. From dark hallways to open-air fairs, we now bring our stories, experience, and the same spiritual tools we once used to help countless families, individuals, and businesses clear their spaces, restore peace, and cleanse what lingers unseen. Our mission is to honor the places that once mattered, hold space for the people who still do, and spark spiritual revival by helping others rediscover beauty in what’s been left behind. And sometimes, the forgotten just need someone to see them again.

Tomorrow, Forgotten Places Society will be at the Hardin County Food Fight, and we've got something a little different planned!

We're turning our booth into Still Waters Tea Room, a cozy little escape with ancient charm, peaceful vibes, and samples of our handcrafted Twilight Bloom herbal tea made with hibiscus, blue pea flower, and a little natural honey. 🌺🫖

We've been having way too much fun putting this booth together. Now let's see if we can bring home Best Decorated Booth!

October is Paranormal Awareness Month… and this year hits different.

20 YEARS. 👻

From the UTM Paranormal Society and those wild college nights… to PRISM, Ascension, West Tennessee Paranormal Society, ministry, urban exploration, and finally Forgotten Places Society — every era built the next.

Hundreds of families, businesses, historic locations, and unforgettable cases.

16 years of ghost walks and public ghost hunts. Countless late nights, miles traveled, and opportunities to work alongside some of the best-known names in the paranormal field.

But somewhere along the way, the mission became bigger than chasing ghosts.

Today, Forgotten Places Society carries all of it forward — preserving forgotten history, exploring the unexplained, helping people, and making sure the places and stories the world forgets are never truly lost.

2006–2026. Twenty years down. The story isn’t over.

Wake up. Rush. Work. Scroll. Worry. Repeat.

Somewhere along the way, being constantly busy became normal… while sitting beneath a tree, talking to your neighbor, watching the sunset, praying, laughing with people you love, or simply doing nothing for a minute started feeling like wasted time.

Maybe it isn’t.

Go outside. Put the phone down. Notice something beautiful. Talk to somebody. Pray awhile. Sit in the quiet.

There’s still a slower, simpler, more connected way to live — and maybe finding our way back to it is part of finding ourselves again. ✌️🌻

The world is full of wonders for those willing to look.

Sometimes faith looks less like having all the answers and more like simply keeping your feet moving when you can’t see where the road leads.

You may be walking through a season right now where the sky looks dark, the road feels long, and what comes next makes absolutely no sense. But a storm over your head doesn’t mean there isn’t sunlight farther down the road. God can already be working in places you haven’t reached yet.

So don’t let one hard chapter convince you that you’ve seen the whole story. Pray. Breathe. Keep walking. Trust God with what you cannot see from where you’re standing.

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

The road continues beyond the storm. 🌻✝️

Throwing it back to 2014 at the UTM Student Organization Fair, when we were still PRISM Paranormal Research. Different name, different booth, considerably more purple lightning 😂… but even then, this was about more than chasing things that go bump in the night.

Over the years the work grew beyond paranormal investigation into history, preservation, spiritual outreach, helping people, exploring forgotten places and reminding folks that there’s still wonder in this world if we’re willing to look for it.

Names changed. Logos changed. We changed. The heart behind it never really did.

Twenty years into this journey, that little table at UTM is part of the road that brought us to Forgotten Places Society today. 🌻👻✌️

Tonight’s the final night of the Hardin County Fair, and Jasper has apparently decided subtlety is no longer an option. 😂

We’ll be there 3–10 PM with gemstones, essential oil blends, natural herb air fresheners, jewelry, charms, crystal trees, unique gifts and all the weird, wonderful FPS goodness we can fit into one booth.

If you’ve been saying, “I’m gonna stop by before the fair ends…” — well, friend, this is it. Come wander around, grab some fair food, enjoy the lights, and come say hey before we pack it all up for another year.

Tonight. 3–10 PM. Hardin County Fair. Savannah, Tennessee.

Boos. Grooves. Good people. Good vibes. 👻🌻✌️
