Oldest North America, Native Mound is in Savannah? Bilbo Mound? So much information few know. Should it be an Historic Preservation Site? https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1DNDMFBdyJ/?mibextid=wwXIfr

🚘🅿️arking changes proposed for the east side of Forsyth Park — a new metered zone, a 2-hour time-limited zone, and implementing decal and permit rules for residents and guests.
We've broken it all down in plain language: boundaries, rates, costs, and what it means for residents, renters, and visitors.

Right now we’re experiencing a power outage from basically River Street to Liberty St - east of Abercorn.

Georgia Power has been notified and we're waiting on getting an update from them.

Officers are maintaining intersections and helping pedestrians cross the street.

Topic of concern: Commercial advertising at CAT Bus stops and buses will be discussed by the CAT Board TOMORROW at 4PM, 900 E Gwinnett Street. Weigh-in your opposition to the visual impact, address emails to Stephanie Cutter and Alderman Leggett . Sample letter below:

Dear Ms. Cutter and Alderman Leggett,

I object to the proposal to wrap CAT buses in commercial advertising. This is an unwarranted intrusion of advertising into the public space, which creates visual blight and over-commercializes many residential and mixed-use communities. Please do not permit this uglification of our visual environment. Please keep the stance of CAT not to allow such visual blight.

Respectfully,
