Only 3 cats from three different locations to be sterilized on 5/26/26.

There were 2 females and 1 male in this group. 1 pregnancy terminated, 1 cat is is a momma and we caught her kitten for our adoption program!

This is the reality of what humans have created and how rescue organizations must stand tall and push forward to help halt the cycle of suffering. NEUTER YOUR PETS!
This haul prevented at LEAST another 600 suffering street births from occurring.
It wouldn't have taken long to get out of control if not for spay/abort and neuter!

Remember, we need your support!

It has been a slow year obtaining appointments with our local SPCA through the feral cat grant. We have done over 400 cats in years past but this year due to limited resources, only 106 street cats have been TNVR'd. Meanwhile, more kittens are being born and we just can't take them all in. We have brought in 100 kittens so far and adopted out 82. We MUST start utilizing a private vet at $100+ per cat. Yes, we are looking for donations! You can also use our website to donate (www.CastAsideToSurvive.org), paypal (), venmo () cashapp ($CastAsideToSurvive) or by check. We are hoping to raise $3,000, so we can neuter 30 cats, thus preventing at least another additional 3,000 street births!

We will need to borrow/collect 30 medium sized, STURDY cat carriers for use on surgery day (TBD) once funds are raised.

Out trapping until 10pm last night in the rain… back this morning at 5:00 before sunrise so I can get set up…

I see a cat in the window that’s definitely nursing.

Caught her! Now to find those babies!

Our rule is mom first! Then babies.

Just removing babies is a Band-Aid. It doesn’t solve the problem.

Mom will just have more!

Most of the time we find the babies. Sometimes we don’t.

That is just a risk we have to take to prevent mom from having more.

The plan would be to keep an eye out in that location over the next several weeks. If we find the babies too late to bring them into the adoption program, then they will be TNVR’d
