941 Sickle Cell Unite This is a place where those who are living with Sickle Cell in Sarasota/Manatee county can come together and unite with others who are like them.

The purpose of this group is to provide peer support for those who have Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) and increase awareness for those who support them. Often times SCD carriers feel alone because they don't know anyone personally with SCD and this will provide them with the opportunity to meet others like them. They can share their stories, challenges, fears, education, recoveries and/or provide tips

on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle despite having SCD.

*If you are parent with a child with SCD
*If you suffer from any form of SCD
*If you are a family member or friend of someone with SCD
*If you are a medical care provider
