Today, my heart is full of gratitude.

While I am grateful for the recent investment from the Charles & Margery Barancik Foundation what means the most to me is the recognition of the people behind this work.

This moment belongs to the residents who showed up to community meetings.

It belongs to the business owners who shared their vision.

It belongs to the board members who believed in the mission.

It belongs to our partners, volunteers, churches, nonprofits, educators, youth, and neighbors who chose to work together for something bigger than themselves.

The photo featured in the article isn’t just a picture. It’s a reflection of a community that decided its future would be shaped by collaboration, hope, and action.

We still have work to do, but today I pause to say thank you.
