This week, the Southwest Florida Water Management District declared a Modified Phase III โ€œExtremeโ€ Water Shortage due to ongoing drought conditions, requiring all residents in the region to follow one-day-per-week watering restrictions with fewer watering hours beginning April 3.

City of Sarasota residents interested in taking home one of 200 FREE trees are invited to join us on Saturday, April 18, at The Bay Sarasota from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

City residents are invited to attend area-specific meetings this month to view and give feedback on draft neighborhood traffic calming maps.

Public meetings will be held in three areas (A, B, C) across the city to allow members of all Sarasota neighborhoods to engage in neighborhood-specific discussions, address
concerns, and learn how measures included in draft traffic calming maps may be implemented in their area.
