Today, we are incredibly excited to officially welcome Jessica Plummer as the new Director of Operations at GRASP!

Jessica’s journey is a powerful reminder of why this work matters. At one point, Jessica was a recipient of GRASP services herself. She knows firsthand what it feels like to need support, hope, and a second chance during a difficult season of life.

Now, she has come full circle and will be helping lead the very organization that once helped her.

There is something incredibly special about someone who not only understands the mission, but has lived it. Jessica brings compassion, resilience, lived experience, and a deep passion for helping others rebuild their lives.

We are honored to have her on our team and cannot wait to see the impact she will make in this new role.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping others and making a difference in the lives of individuals reentering the community and working toward recovery.

The preferred candidate will have lived experience in recovery and experience living in a recovery home. We believe lived experience brings valuable insight, compassion, and hope to the individuals we serve.

Last night was something truly special ❤️

Our inaugural GRASP Gala brought together a community of people who believe in second chances, in dignity, and in the power of support and connection. Because of each and every one of you, we raised nearly $40,000 that will go directly toward helping individuals in our community access safe reentry and recovery housing and the support they need to rebuild their lives.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who showed up, gave generously, and stood behind this mission. Your presence alone spoke volumes.

To our two incredible speakers, thank you for your courage and vulnerability. Sharing your stories was not easy, but your honesty reminded all of us why this work matters and who it is truly for. You are the heart of this mission.

To our recovery home partners and community partners, thank you for walking alongside us and for the work you do every day to create real pathways to stability and hope. This impact would not be possible without you.

This night was more than an event. It was a reflection of what can happen when a community comes together with purpose.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in GRASP and in the individuals we serve. The work continues, and because of you, so does the hope.

We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support from our community. Because of you, this event is going to be something truly special.

While tickets are no longer available, you can still make an impact. Donations are still open, and sponsorship opportunities are still available for those who want to support the mission and be part of this incredible night.

GRASP is looking for individuals who have a heart for service and want to make a real difference in the lives of people reentering our community.
Something as simple as giving a ride, helping someone get to a meeting, picking out clothes for a new job, or going with them to the DMV to get an ID can change the entire trajectory of someone’s life.

This is what community looks like. This is how we remove barriers and create second chances.
