Rick and Pat gave Dan a lesson on driving the tractor today! He grew up on a farm in Kansas, so he has driven one of these before but it’s been a looong time. I’m told he didn’t crash into anything and everyone still has all their limbs so it was a good day. 👍

Big shout out to The Haven’s Maintenance Team and the volunteers that helped put together the Double Adventure Tower playground at the Selby Preschool. Thanks to Carlos, Dave, Rey, Rick, Pat, Donnie, Ed, Robin and Dan for all the hours and careful assembly. The kids are already enjoying it!

Everyone is welcome to participate.

Tables are $50 to register, and we kindly ask that 20% of all sales proceeds be donated back to The Haven. All proceeds will directly support our Life Skills Development and Adult Day Training programs.

Families, this is a friendly reminder that our Special Needs Long Term Planning Meeting is happening this evening at 6:30pm at The Haven main campus in the Frank Stern Building.

This is an important opportunity to learn more about planning for the future and the supports and options available for your loved one.

🏡 For families who are interested, we will also be offering a tour of one of our group homes from 5:00 to 6:00pm prior to the meeting.

This Saturday, February 14th, from 11:00 am–12:00 pm, our campus will be roaring as we welcome the Suncoast Charities for Children Thunder by the Bay Chairty Dice riders to The Haven.

The bikes will stop at the back of campus in front of Selby Preschool. Each year, riders make stops along their route before heading to the Thunder by the Bay event, and we are proud to be one of those stops. With more than 75 riders participating annually, it is an exciting hour of watching them arrive, chatting with the riders, and then cheering them on as they roar back out.

Please join us for this fun family friendly community moment. We hope to see some of you there! 🤘
