Redwood Empire Foster Parent Association REFPA “Our mission is to support the Sonoma County foster care community and the children they serve.” What is REFPA?

The Redwood Empire Foster Parent Association (REFPA) is a non-profit organization,consisting of foster parents, adoptive parents, community members, and social workers from Sonoma County’s Family, Youth, and Children’s Division. REFPA sponsors fundraising events for special needs and scholarships, assists caregivers by offering educational opportunities, hosts social events, and provides emotional support & mentoring.

Come join us Wednesday, January the 21st for a virtual Resourse Parent Informational Session.
(Talks are offered monthly)

✨We will discuss different types of foster care and how you can support children and families impacted by foster care.
You also learn about the Resourse Family Aporoval Process and what that entails.
You'll hear from experienced foster parents, former foster youth and from local agencies that support local foster families, children and teens.

Thank you to our incredible community!❤️

REFPA is truly grateful for this amazing group of young ladies who play together on a local sports team.

During the holiday season the girls chose to opt out of exchanging gifts amongst themselves and decided to fill a bag with essentials for a 10 year old girl experiencing foster care.
This bag the was so lovingly filled will be utilized by our Blue Bag Program.
We are inspired by the gesture of  selflessness from these young people.

 We will be playing Bingo and enjoying a delicious lunch from Mary’s Pizza shack.

 The meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, December the 1st.

( up to 6 books & set of specials included)
🕷️King or Queen will be chosen for the evening.
🕷️ Extravaganza and end of the month drawing.
🎃 A special black light Dauber will be given to all players.
