PWMC will be closed Monday, September 7 through Friday, September 11. We will reopen Monday, September 14.

We're telling you early for a reason. A week goes by fast, and the last thing we want is for anyone to run out of a medication or sit on a symptom because our doors were locked. So here's your Wellness Wednesday checklist—take five minutes today:

✅ Check your prescriptions. Count what's left. If you'll run low before September 14, call us this week so we can get your refill handled before we close.

✅ Know where to go if you can't wait. For a true emergency—chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding—call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Don't wait for us to reopen. For something urgent but not an emergency, a walk-in or urgent care clinic can bridge the gap.

2026 Harvest Moon Celebration—Thank you to our Harvest Moon Celebration Official Photographer, Shelly Swanger.

Shelly Swanger Photography will be with us all three events, from the first sun salutation in Ruskin Place to the last song under the Big Top. Shelly is a Gulf Coast photographer whose work has appeared in USA Today, The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Southern Living, Garden & Gun, American Songwriter, Emerald Coast Magazine, and VIE. She built her eye shooting music and editorial work—in Nashville and along the Emerald Coast—and it shows. Her style is calm, observant, and unposed: she doesn't interrupt a moment to photograph it; she just waits for the real one.

We're honored to recognize Sweet Henrietta's as a PWMC Patient Champion for the 2026 Harvest Moon Celebration—a commitment that stretches across all three nights of the weekend and, more importantly, straight into our exam rooms.
They stand behind the whole reason we throw this party. Every dollar goes toward keeping the doors of the PWMC open and our care free for neighbors who have nowhere else to turn.

Debbie, Pete, and their team have built a name on custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and specialty desserts—the sweets that show up at weddings, birthdays, and just-because Tuesdays all over South Walton and on the shelves of restaurants and shops up and down the road. Tucked into Seaside's Central Square right next door to Mercantile, Duckies Shop of Fun has spent years doing exactly what its name promises: kids' toys, clothing, rubber ducks, and just plain silly stuff. She works full time. She still can't afford a doctor.

ALICE: Asset-limited, Income Constrained, Employed. Working neighbors who earn too much for Medicaid and too little for insurance. When they get sick, they wait — and waiting turns a manageable problem into an emergency.

That's the gap we exist to close, and we're proud to do it as a funded partner agency of United Way Emerald Coast.

Their investment becomes appointments, prescriptions, and the early detection of chronic conditions. 91% of our visits keep someone out of the ER. All of it free to the patient.

$225,000 — and every dollar of it goes to kids. 🍷❤️

Last night, the Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation presented Point Washington Medical Clinic with $225,000 for children in need in Northwest Florida.

What that looks like on a Tuesday morning at our clinic: a well-child visit. A sports physical. Vaccines. A sick kid seen the same day instead of waiting it out. All of it is free to the family—because that's the only way we do it.

DCWAF gave $3.25 million to children in need across our region this year. We are so proud to be part of that.
