☀️ Sometimes to beat the heat all you need is an iced coffee and a good laugh 🧊☕️😆 And that’s what Bahala brought to our community at last week’s Coffee & Connections ☕️ We gathered in the semi-shade ⛱️, shared stories, and ended our week feeling a bit more connected to our community 💗 Join us every Friday for this feel-good event! Last Monday Bahala hosted the first annual Tea & Talks: Incubator Night 💡 It was a night meant to light all our entrepreneurial sparks, and let me tell you the sparks were flying 🎇⚡️🎆 Bahalans of all ages shared their ideas and were met with rousing applause! Based on all these ideas it’s safe to say the future looks bright 🌇

This is our first annual Incubator - a night to showcase the goals and dreams of our community. Find a group of supportive neighbors in this low-stress way to beta-test your dream 💭 By the end of the evening you’ll leave with new ideas, new inspiration and new friends! And bring your credit card as some of our side hustlers will be selling their items :)

Last week at Coffee & Connections, we held a sewing circle 🪡 Or rather a patching circle! Neelah, one of our teen members, led us in a sewing exercise where we got a chance to add some sparkle to our wardrobe ✨ Unique hands-on workshops like these are just one of the many things that make Bahala ‘sew’ special 🧵❤️ Join us at the next Coffee & Connections to see how else Bahala brings that special sparkle✨✨✨

Join the League of Women Voters LWV of Santa Monica on August 8th for a National Day of Action at the Cayton Children’s Museum for a day of action ✊🏽🪧✊🏻 as we all work to defend and protect the Voting Rights Act 🛡️ There will be fun activities, letter writing, and inspiration shared as we make sure our representatives know that we want voting rights protected 📬 📣
