“Supporters gathered on the Santa Monica Pier Saturday, August 22nd, for Fightbook’s Butterfly Brawl boxing event, benefiting Teen Cancer America. The event featured live music and boxing matches overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. It was founded by Mark Habibi and his family in honor of his cousin, Yassy Hosseini, a young adult who passed away from breast cancer in 2017. Five year old Elitza Ramos, currently in cancer treatment, was the Guest of Honor.”

The Play It Back Music Program gives young people facing cancer an opportunity to create original songs with professional producers. Artists in our program may come across other fun opportunities, like performing live!

It’s National Dog Day!!!!

We are walking 30 miles in 30 days with our beloved dog friends to raise awareness for teens and young adults experiencing cancer.

Many hospitals lack specialized programs or services dedicated to helping these young people dealing with cancer. That’s why we step in to help hospitals create evidence-based programs that are just right for teens and young adults. Our programs are specially designed for their age and cater to their specific needs, providing the support they deserve.

Walk your dog with us! If you raise $20, we will send you a bandana, and if you raise $60, you will receive a t-shirt. You can sign up to walk or donate at the ink in our bio.

There are things you say to someone experiencing cancer and things you don’t say. A good place to start might be to acknowledge what they are going through and express how difficult that must be.
