In today's Peer + Strong Roots Wide Branches Meetup, we discussed how our early religious experiences and the culture we grew up in creates biases and assumptions in the ways we approach paganism and religion. By bringing these unconscious assumptions to the surface, we have the ability to let go of old beliefs that no longer serve us, and make conscious choices about what we want to believe going forward. Hey all!

We wanted to let folks know about some shifts happening! For the last couple of years, we have been running a free monthly support group for service providers and peer counselors as part of our Torchlight program. We are going to be shifting that group to be more of a hybrid between peer counseling and the original Strong Roots Wide Branches polytheist religious curriculum. This free monthly drop-in group will focus both on helping individuals deepen into their religious and spiritual practices as well as exploring how to support others who are doing that work.

Our next SRWB monthly group will be meeting on Zoom this Sunday, 7/12, from 10-11:30 AM pst. We would love to see some of you there ♡
