Neighborhood Connection We are a non-profit dedicated to connecting neighbors to needs in the Southern Utah community with a focus on feeding local children in need. George area.

The most recent data for our area (2013) show we have 886 homeless kids out of the 31,000 in the WCSD schools. Another 8,878 (19%) are living at or below poverty level which is $24,000 family of four. A few community members helping with food donations to non-profits over the winter holidays ended up discussing the need for a backpack program at many schools in the St. Check out information about

Providing kids with enough food to fuel their growing minds and bodies helps them to do better in school. Unfortunately, the Utah Food Bank does not offer these programs in Southern Utah -nor will they fund separate 501c3 organizations who want to fill the gap. We need your help to make these programs a reality in southern Utah. Please click on the donate button on our main page to learn how to donate food.
