Medical Assistance for Cancer Patients

Among Hidaya Foundation’s greatest efforts under our Medical Assistance project is our ongoing support to cancer patients in Pakistan.

Currently we are supporting 169 patients with 42 more to be added soon. Hidaya provides cancer patients with rides to and coverage for monthly treatments as well as monthly stipends for additional assistance.

On average, it comes to about $175 per month to sponsor treatment for a cancer patient.

In 2025, Hidaya Foundation installed 1,131 water hand pumps on behalf of our donors in Pakistan and Bangladesh, distributed over 50,000 liters of water daily via water tanker to serve over 100,000 people in Pakistan, and installed 40 community water stations and restrooms, and 75 water wells in Pakistan. In 2025, Hidaya Foudnation arranged for 3,330 examinations and treatments for 262 patients in Pakistan, supported medical clinics in Gaza, Palestine, and supported a mental health clinic in San Francisco, USA via our Medical Assistance project.

In 2025, Hidaya Foundation sacrificed 3,261 goats and 336 oxen and distributed the meat to benefit over 60,000 families in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe. Among the sacrifices, 142 goats were sacrificed as Aqiqah on behalf of donors.
