Behind the Scenes! Mark and Oliver came to the local shelter as tiny babies, and a couple weeks later were found to have ringworm. They were then at risk of euthanasia- luckily, we had room at the moment and were able to take them in. Anyone who knows Scritch Kittens knows that we don't mind a little ringworm. The problem is that ringworm kittens are often sick in other ways as well AND that it takes longer to get them healthy and adoptable. This means that we are able to rescue fewer kittens throughout the year- but each rescue has their own niche and this is one of ours. These boys have gotten very big and are about 9 weeks old (although oliver insists on still being a bottle baby- we are working on convincing him that he can actually use those teeth that he has) We are cautiously hopeful that these boys will be available for adoption in July, and they are just the sweetest things ever.
