UCSB Non-Traditional Students This is the page for UCSB's Non-Traditional Student Resource Center! Welcome to our community and please reach out to let us know what you need.

The Non-Traditional Student Resource Center provides a community space for students whose life experiences may differ from traditional students. It is a home for any student who is:
- An undergraduate student over 24 years old (25+)
- A graduate student over 29 years old (30+)
- A domestic partnered /married student
- Student with dependent(s)
- Re-entering students
- Formerly incarcerated student

- And/or student veterans

The Resource Center provides a space to study, eat, relax, or hang-out; a staff to guide you to resources, and help manage the challenges associated with achieving your academic goals. The Non-traditional Student Resource Center can be your first stop to success at UCSB.

Hey student parents! Don’t forget, tomorrow is the last day to sign up for priority registration if you haven’t already done so! In addition, if you are an undergraduate parenting student, the A.S. Childcare grant is open and taking applications for Winter. Please note that apps will be due by Week 7. If this is your first time applying, you must schedule an appointment with non-trad staff after submitting your application for verification. Please contact us if you have any further questions. Are you interested in becoming an RA? Family Student Housing is now hiring! Applications will be available online starting next Monday (11/24) through the the 15th of December at noon. Applicants need to be residents or currently on the FSH waitlist to be eligible to apply. Please visit the family student housing website for more information, or scan the QR code. Good luck!

The Non-Traditional Student Resource Center is proud to announce that we are holding a friendsgiving dinner in collaboration with Gaucho Underground Scholars and the Student-Parent Association! We are grateful for this opportunity to build community during these trying times, and hope that you will join us! The dinner will take place between 5-7pm on Wednesday, November 19th at the Guest House Pavilion. Due to there being limited spots, we ask that you RSVP as soon as possible to ensure your place. If you would like to recieve a turkey to take home, make sure to RSVP for that separately. You can choose to RSVP for both events or either event. Keep in mind that entry is free and the spots will be reserved on a first come first serve basis, and sign up early!

Hello Non-trads! We hope your quarter is going well! To destress after midterms, the non-trad center will be hosting a Game night on Monday, October 27th at the Student Resource Building in the Multipurpose Room (MPR).

We invite you to join us in community building through play. Come have a laugh and meet new friends, children included! We will have board games for all ages and FREE pizza.
