The Non-Traditional Student Resource Center provides a community space for students whose life experiences may differ from traditional students. It is a home for any student who is:
- An undergraduate student over 24 years old (25+)
- A graduate student over 29 years old (30+)
- A domestic partnered /married student
- Student with dependent(s)
- Re-entering students
- Formerly incarcerated student

- And/or student veterans

The Resource Center provides a space to study, eat, relax, or hang-out; a staff to guide you to resources, and help manage the challenges associated with achieving your academic goals. The Non-traditional Student Resource Center can be your first stop to success at UCSB.

Attention student parents! In collaboration with we will be hosting a virtual workshop on Tuesday, June 30th at 5pm to cover information regarding the summer SunBucks program. Please come and join us for our annual graduation ceremony to celebrate you! We want to highlight your unique experiences and celebrate your achievements! If you’d like to attend, please RSVP by using the QR code or by following the link in our bio. This event takes place on Friday, May 29th from 530 pm -730 pm in the SRB multipurpose room. Children are welcome! We will be providing food, games, graduation cords, and a presentation commemorating you. Lastly, stay tuned for our keynote speaker announcement, you don’t want to miss it! Hey student parents! Don’t forget, tomorrow is the last day to sign up for priority registration if you haven’t already done so! In addition, if you are an undergraduate parenting student, the A.S. Childcare grant is open and taking applications for Winter. Please note that apps will be due by Week 7. If this is your first time applying, you must schedule an appointment with non-trad staff after submitting your application for verification. Please contact us if you have any further questions. Have a great rest of your quarter!
