Dumpsters will be located in the same area. Alona/21st Marion/Forest. Please be responsible and respectful by picking up trash left behind.

If you have dirt, cement, rock, or other heavy items please arrive early as those items need to go at the bottom. NO tired, electronics, or other hazardous materials.

First 2024 Riverview neighborhood meeting.

ATTN: SAVE SANTIAGO CREEK! We have until NOVEMBER 14th to respond.

The Amy Corps of Engineers (ACe) has released the Environmental Assesment (AE).

FACTS:

- 5.5 year project will remove ALL of the existing 1 mile section of Santiago creek slope sides and riverbed from I-5 to Santa Ana River and replace with rip rap stone.
- It starts with chainsaws removing ALL trees and vegetation
- Buildozers and Earthmovers filling dump trucks for a YEAR!
- Pile drivers pounding Pliny’s to install steel and concrete walls on the side of the riverbed.
- Decrease in property value

Reminder-- we have a neighborhood meeting Friday 10/13. It will be a Meet n Greet, Neighborhood Update, ANNNNNDDD Chili Cook-Off!!! We have 7 contestants!! Special guest Mayor Pro Tem Jessie Lopez will be joining us.
