Good afternoon and Happy Tuesday! I pray you are doing well. Today in my quiet time with God, the Lord had me remember a time where I struggled with having alone time with Him. I struggled because there were so many voices, so many distractions that would not allow me to focus and make time... But then I started having dreams. God would get my attention by coming to me in my dreams to reveal things, reveal people, and to reveal vision. It took some time for me to realize that I needed to make Him a priority in my life to love Him enough to spend time with Him.

Ponder this and be prepared to discuss the different ways that God has to get your attention. Is it through dreams or songs? Do you struggle with finding alone time with God? If so... Let's talk about it.

No matter what our circumstances are, God's love NEVER changes. The cross, the death of Jesus Christ, and His resurrection are God's final, total, and complete expression that He loves you. NEVER allow your heart to question God's love. Settle it on the front end of your desire to know Him and experience HIM.

Did you know that God created you for a love relationship? He loves you. He has been pursuing you in that love relationship. EVERY encounter He has with you is an expression of His love for you!

If you were standing before God, could you describe your relationship with Him by saying, "I love You with all my heart?"

As God POSITIONS you for His plans and exposes you to new things, have the COURAGE to listen to your heart and not just your mind. God gave you an inner voice for a reason, and He is not insulted when you listen to it. Your decisions will require Godly discernment!

Much of the anxiety and regret that come from the weight of your decisions can be alleviated or avoided if you assemble all of your information and have the right KNOWLEDGE!!

There are messy people around you that SOMEHOW made it into the New Year with you.
•They hold secret grudges against you while posing as friends/supporters.
•They bring mess from your past to make sure you never move forward.
•They keep tabs on you to report to those who despise you.
•They speak ill of you every chance they get & hope it never gets back to you.
•They understand your story from your enemy's point of view but benefit from you enough to stay close to you.

Something from my personal journal of learning how to love myself first!

Rising to a new day, I readily say.
I am blessed to see the brightness from the rays,
I am blessed to be alive and active,

I know now that beauty is not in how people see me,
It is in how I see myself,

Whatever the day may bring,
I won’t waste it wondering,
I will be thankful, playful, and prayerful,
I will love the world positively and love myself more attentively.

We are less than one month away from our IAMSK 2022 "Prioritizing to Win, Loving Myself First" Prayer Brunch on January 15th! I am truly excited and anticipating having a great time! To be able to see women pour and be poured into! So much has been happening behind the scenes and I gotta tell you, I'm about to burst!!! God gets the glory! When I wanted to give, up, God said "Keep going, I got you!"

MORNING MEDITATION: I've been compared by others in ministry to have a personality like that of the Apostle Peter! However, TODAY, I feel like Paul. The Scripture that comes to my mind is that of 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 which reads: "To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

While searching for this scripture to draw upon, my heart ached as I thought about my own ‘thorn in the flesh’. Like the apostle Paul, I pleaded with God to remove the tormenting ‘thorn’, a grief-stricken affliction to those suffering from it. I do not know why I received this infirmity, however, if the pain brought me to salvation, it worked. If God uses it as a refining tool, it’s working. If it keeps me close to Him, He continues to win! God’s grace is sufficient!! When I am weak, the power of His Spirit strengthens me to carry on in the works He has ordained for me to do!!

Do you have a ‘thorn’ in your flesh? Maybe you too have pleaded with God to remove the ‘thorn’ but He has not. Do not become discouraged. God has a purpose for permitting it.

Instead, allow Christ to become the balm that soothes your aching ‘thorn’ and permit His Spirit to strengthen you.

Have you ever considered that your ‘thorn’ is what actually keeps you running back to God? LOL, I just did.....as I continue to RUN RUN RUN back to God, I realize HE keeps giving me the strength to continue pressing forward!

I need to ask you something and I need you to be honest with me. - Are you looking for God to do something unusual in your life?
- Something so unusual that when it's ALL said and done, you will have to testify and say "It WAS NOBODY BUT the Lord?"
- Are you trusting Him to answer your prayer?
- Do you have faith to WAIT for the answer?

When is the last time you stopped and prayed asking God to guide you in your personal life, in your work, in your family, in your community, in your church, in our nation? Do you need to adjust your life to God so that He can move you into the mainstream of His activity so that we can be used to help other people? Understanding what God is about to do WHERE YOU ARE is more important than you telling HIM what you want to do for HIM. Do you agree?

Tonight in Teach Me Tuesday, we will be focusing on a question that was asked last week pertaining to Hebrews 3:10-17. We're looking at the word "angry" in verse 10, and the word "anger" in verse 11, that describes how God felt towards Israel with their disobedience and rebellion. This word "angry", when we do the word study on it, signifies that God loathed a whole generation. He was highly displeased and disgusted with them. He abhorred them and was offended or indignant with them.

The question that was asked was "If we're in the dispensation of grace...does that mean that God does not get angry when we sin?"

Also, why do we preach and teach on the grace of God, but not the wrath/anger of God?

The class had this text as their homework and we will be discussing it tonight. I'm hoping some ministers/preachers/pastors/apostles/bishops will join the call and help shed some light on this text, please do so 🙂
