We are grateful to the Chesley G. Magruder Foundation for its continued support since 2020 and for its generous $5,000 grant to our Take Stock In Children - Seminole (TSIC) program.

This investment will help TSIC Seminole support 122 at-risk students during the 2026-2027 school year through one-on-one mentoring, college readiness coaching, scholarships, and educational enrichment opportunities. Students gain valuable skills in financial literacy, time management, SAT/ACT preparation, and college planning, helping them stay on track for success in high school and beyond.

Thank you, Chesley G. Magruder Foundation, for your commitment to empowering local students and expanding access to higher education opportunities.

BOARD MEMBER MONDAY!

We're thrilled to introduce a new member of the Foundation Board. Join us in welcoming Evgenia Jane Vokonitskaya!

Jane is a Client Executive at BNY Pershing, where she partners with Broker Dealers and Registered Investment Advisors to advance strategic priorities and support long-term growth.

Earlier in her career, Jane served as a Principal Product Manager, leading the strategy, digitization, and expansion of Pershing’s lending solutions, including securities-based lending and mortgage offerings.

Over more than a decade with the firm, she has built deep cross-functional experience partnering across product, service, and operations to solve complex client needs and drive strategic initiatives. She is also a graduate of Pershing’s yearlong Corporate Training Program.

In addition to her client responsibilities, Jane serves as global strategy lead for GENEDGE, BNY’s multigenerational employee business resource group, driving connection, innovation, and professional growth across generations and career stages.

Jane holds a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Financial Economics from the University of Central Florida and is a graduate of Wharton’s Securities Industry Institute. She holds Series 7 and Series 24 licenses and is fluent in Russian.

Jane lives in Winter Springs with her husband, two children, and two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and hosting friends and family.

“After years of being involved in our local schools through the PTA, Band Boosters, and committees within the Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools, I wanted to find a way to do more. I believe every child should have access to meaningful opportunities to learn, and every teacher should have the resources to support student success. Joining the board felt like a natural next step, an opportunity to contribute more meaningfully by bringing my professional experience and network to support the community I call home.”

Today, we are beyond grateful for the incredible generosity, compassion, and teamwork demonstrated by the AdventHealth Orlando family.

Through their backpack and school supply drive, AdventHealth Orlando donated well over 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to support students and teachers throughout Seminole County.

What made this donation even more remarkable was the care and attention put into every backpack. Not only were the bags filled with supplies, but they were also sorted and organized by grade level, ensuring students receive age-appropriate materials tailored to their educational needs.

The scene was truly inspiring. Doctors, nurses, security officers, and team members from across the organization arrived with smiles on their faces, wheeling in backpacks on carts, wheelchairs, and even medical equipment.

These backpacks were donated to our Tools 4 Seminole Schools, our free teacher resource store where educators can shop for classroom supplies at no cost. Because of support like this, our teachers are equipped with the resources they need to focus on what they do best: educating and inspiring young minds

To everyone at AdventHealth Orlando who donated, organized, volunteered, and supported this effort: Thank you for helping to prepare our students for success and supporting the educators who serve them every day.
