She Was Me Inc. is proud to announce we are accepting applications for the She Was Me Legacy Scholarship!

This scholarship was created in loving memory of Mike Todd Jr., Through this scholarship, his impact continues by helping others pursue their educational dreams. This scholarship was created to support single mothers and children of single mothers who are pursuing higher education and working toward a brighter future. We believe that resilience, determination, and education have the power to change generations.

✅ Eligible Applicants:
• Single mothers pursuing higher education
• Children of single mothers pursuing higher education

📅 Application Deadline: June 30, 2026

At She Was Me Inc., we believe resilience has the power to change generations. Through the She Was Me Legacy Scholarship, one deserving recipient will receive a $500 scholarship to invest in their educational journey. We believe that when determination meets opportunity, lives are transformed, families are strengthened, and legacies are built.

Thank you to every woman who showed up for our She Was Me Sister Circle. We honored her story, embraced our story, and stepped into our legacy.

Seeing each of you reflect and show up with intention was powerful.

This is just the beginning.

In Seminole County, we have recently lost three precious teenagers to su***de. As a community, our hearts break alongside the families and loved ones who are walking through unimaginable pain. At She Was Me Inc., we stand in prayer for these families asking God to surround them with comfort, peace, and strength in the days ahead. No parent should ever have to bear such a loss, and no young person should ever feel that their life has no hope or value.

This is a call for all of us to be present, to listen, and to remind our youth that their lives matter. If you are a parent, a mentor, a teacher, or simply a caring neighbor please take a moment today to check in on the young people around you. A kind word, an open ear, or a gentle reminder that they are loved can make all the difference. We are praying for healing in our community. May we come together in love, compassion, and action.
