✨As always, our bags are first come, first served. No holds, and one bag per household.

💕One thing I’ve learned through doing One Pot Kindness is that you truly never know who might be struggling. It could be a friend, a family member, a coworker, or someone you see every day, and you would never even know. Not everyone talks about what they’re going through, and sometimes the people who seem to have everything together are the ones quietly trying to make ends meet. A little kindness and understanding can go a long way.

✨We want to thank everyone who continues to donate and support One Pot Kindness. Every donation, whether big or small, helps us put together these meals for individuals and families who could use a little extra help. We truly couldn’t do this without you!

✨Our Venmo donations truly make a difference and help us fill in the gaps when putting these meal bags together. They allow us to purchase items we may not have on hand, such as proteins, fresh vegetables, fruits, and breads, so we can provide complete meals to individuals and families who need them.

✨Every dollar helps, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who continues to support what we do.

✨So incredibly grateful for our lovely community!✨
Sometimes it’s hard to always share all of the donations that come through, but we do try when we can! I also wanted to share a few of the messages we receive because these messages are just as much for all of you as they are for us.

This is the help YOU are providing to members of our community. Whether it’s helping a parent who was stressed about having snacks for their kids at school, helping someone through a few hard times, or simply making things a little easier for a family that week, your donations are making a difference. And we thank you all for the support you share and give 💜 We’re just the middlemen. Our community is what makes this possible, and we are so incredibly grateful for all of you!

‼️ ONE POT KINDNESS BAG DROP ‼️

We have 4 meal bags available this week! As always, bags are first come, first served, one bag per household, and no holds.

Bag 1: Meatball Lasagna

A hearty meatball lasagna with pasta sauce, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, served with fresh French bread and zucchini.

Easy Recipe:

1. Cook the meatballs according to package directions. Allow them to cool slightly, then slice them into smaller pieces.
2. Layer pasta sauce, lasagna noodles, sliced meatballs, mozzarella and Parmesan in a baking dish. Repeat the layers, finishing with sauce and plenty of mozzarella on top.
3. Cover with foil and bake according to the lasagna noodle package directions. Remove the foil for the last 10–15 minutes so the cheese can melt and brown.
4. Let the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes before cutting.

Zucchini: The fresh zucchini can be sliced and cooked separately as a side, or added right into the lasagna. If adding it to the lasagna, slice it, lightly salt it and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Pat it very dry before layering. This helps draw out the extra moisture so the lasagna doesn’t become watery.

Serve with the fresh French bread.

Bag 2: Backyard Cheeseburgers & Fries

A classic cheeseburger night with burgers, American cheese, hamburger rolls, straight-cut fries, ketchup, fresh onion and fresh zucchini.

Easy Recipe:

1. Cook the burger patties on the grill, stovetop or in the oven until fully cooked.
2. Add a slice of American cheese to each burger during the last minute or two of cooking.
3. Serve on the hamburger rolls with sliced onion and ketchup.
4. Cook the fries according to the package directions.

Fresh Zucchini Side: Slice the zucchini into rounds or half-moons. Sauté in a little oil or butter over medium heat until tender and lightly browned. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder or whatever seasonings you have on hand.

Serve alongside the cheeseburgers and fries for an easy complete meal.

Bag 3: Steak & Cheese Subs with Fries

A classic steak and cheese night with sliced steak, fresh sub rolls, cheddar cheese, steak-cut fries and fresh zucchini.

Easy Recipe:

1. Cook the sliced steak according to the package directions until hot and fully cooked.
2. Grate or thinly slice the block of cheddar cheese.
3. Divide the cooked steak between the sub rolls and top with the cheese. Let it melt over the hot steak, or place the assembled subs in the oven for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.
4. Cook the steak-cut fries according to the package directions.

Fresh Zucchini Side: Slice the zucchini into rounds or half-moons and sauté in a little oil or butter until tender and lightly browned. Season to taste.

Serve the steak and cheese subs hot with fries and zucchini on the side.

Bag 4: Classic Cheeseburgers & Fries

An easy family cheeseburger night with beef patties, American cheese, hamburger rolls, fresh onion, ketchup, straight-cut fries and fresh zucchini.

Easy Recipe:

1. Cook the burger patties on the grill, stovetop or in the oven until fully cooked.
2. Add a slice of American cheese to each burger during the last minute or two of cooking and allow it to melt.
3. Serve the burgers on the hamburger rolls with sliced onion and ketchup.
4. Prepare the straight-cut fries according to the package directions.

Fresh Zucchini Side: Slice the zucchini into rounds or half-moons. Sauté in a little oil or butter over medium heat until tender and lightly browned. Season with salt, pepper or whatever seasonings you have on hand.

Serve the zucchini alongside the cheeseburgers and fries.

✨A huge thank you to our donors.✨

👉🏼These weekly bag drops are only one part of what One Pot Kindness does. We also help families outside of our drops whenever we have the resources available, and monetary donations play a huge role in making that possible. They allow us to purchase the specific items needed to complete meals, fill requests and help where the need is greatest.

Lately, monetary donations have been especially helpful with back-to-school snacks. These are items that schools often aren’t able to provide, and they can become another expense for families already trying to stretch their grocery budgets. With shortages at local food pantries making things even harder, we’ve been able to use your support to help fill some of those gaps.

If you’d like to help, we are always grateful for donations of shelf-stable food, fresh items when needed, or monetary donations that give us the flexibility to purchase exactly what a family or meal bag is missing. Every bit of support goes directly toward helping people in our community who could use a little extra help.

Monetary donations can be sent through Venmo:

Every dollar helps us purchase exactly what’s needed to complete meal bags, fulfill private requests and provide things like back-to-school snacks for local families.

We truly appreciate every donation, share, kind word and bit of continued support. It’s amazing to have the kind of community backing that we do.

And to everyone who donates: you are the true heroes. We’re just the middlemen getting your kindness where it needs to go.

Thank you, as always, for supporting One Pot Kindness. 💜

👉🏼A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR DONORS!

✨These bags would not be possible without the people who donate food, supplies, and monetary donations to One Pot Kindness. Every single contribution helps us continue putting complete meals into the hands of local families.

🫶🏼Monetary donations are especially important because donated food doesn’t always arrive as a complete meal. We may receive the chicken but need the potatoes and sides. We may have cereal but need the milk. We may have burgers but need buns, cheese, or fries.

🫶🏼Those monetary donations allow us to purchase those missing pieces and COMPLETE our bags.

✨They also help us provide food for families who reach out to us privately outside of our regular bag drops. Our weekly drops are only one part of what we do. When resources allow, we also help families behind the scenes who contact us needing a little extra support.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

• Donate food or meal ingredients
• Make a monetary donation through Venmo:
• Donate directly through our residential donation bin
• We can also arrange pickup for donations
• DM us for donation details, current needs, or to coordinate a pickup/drop-off

👉🏼Whether you donate one box of food, help us complete an entire meal, or send a few dollars toward the ingredients we’re missing, it all goes directly toward helping us feed families in our community.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support One Pot Kindness and helps make these bags possible.

08/11/2026
