Paul DeLong Memorial Scholarship

Paul DeLong Memorial Scholarship Provides scholarships to 4-H/FFA youth involved in beef projects from Huron, Tuscola, Sanilac, St Clair, Oakland, Macomb, and Lapeer counties.

The Paul DeLong Memorial Scholarship assists youth enrolled in 4-H or FFA beef projects through the seven counties of the Thumb of Michigan (Huron, Tuscola, Sanilac, St Clair, Oakland, macomb, and Lapeer) in furthering their education beyond high school. All graduating high school seniors from any of the seven counties that exhibit two or more AND the current year (their senior year) at the Thumb

Jackpot Beef Show are eligible to receive this scholarship. To raise money for scholarships the Paul DeLong Memorial Scholarship holds an annual live and silent auction during the Thumb Jackpot Beef Show. Each year the Thumb Jackpot Beef Show alternates which county it is held in. The rotation is Macomb, Tuscola, St Clair, Oakland, Sanilac, Lapeer, Huron.

The Thumb Jackpot Beef Youth Program and Paul DeLong Memorial Committee will be having a meeting on September 17th .
