Chafe 150 Gran Fondo is a 1 day bicycle ride for charity that begins and ends in Sandpoint Idaho. 150, 100, 80, 40, 25 and family fun ride routes. One of the top charity rides in the U.S. as well as one of the most scenic bicycle rides in the U.S. This ride raises money to improve children's literacy.

After months of scouting and over 100 volunteer hours spent on snowshoes, bikes, jeeps, and 4-wheelers, we’re excited to officially unveil a BRAND NEW gravel route for the 2026 CHAFE150! 🌲⛰️

📍 June 20, 2026

Here’s what’s coming your way:

✨ A scenic shuttle start to Priest River
✨ Forest roads, epic climbs, and stunning North Idaho views
✨ A ride through the Experiential Forest
✨ The climb toward Baldy Mountain
✨ A roll through the aptly named “Happy Gap” before heading back to Sandpoint

Choose your adventure:

Gravel 60
~60 miles | ~4100’ elevation gain
Includes an additional 20-mile loop toward Jack Pine Flats

Gravel 40
~40 miles | ~3500’ elevation gain

This route is packed with beautiful terrain, wide-open scenery, and the kind of gravel riding that keeps you smiling long after the finish line.

Detailed maps and GPX files will be sent out ahead of ride day so you can start planning your next adventure now!
