Active Family Development AFD is 100% volunteer-run, donation-funded nonprofit dedicated to eliminating financial barriers so every child has the opportunity to play, grow, and thrive.

We provide free programs that promote physical fitness, personal growth, and family connection. At AFD, we are dedicated to fostering youth development and offering no-cost family activities to strengthen our community. Our mission is to create inclusive, welcoming spaces where individuals of all ages can connect, grow, and thrive together. We organize a diverse range of events designed to bring families closer while promoting active engagement. From hands-on workshops and recreational activities to social gatherings and family-focused events, AFD ensures that every opportunity is accessible and enriching for all. By prioritizing safety and inclusivity, AFD provides children and adults with meaningful experiences to build lasting relationships, collaborate, and share joyful moments. Through our efforts, we strive to inspire a sense of belonging, connection, and growth for every member of our vibrant community.

They were telling you what THEY believed was possible.

Don’t let someone else’s limitations become your ceiling.
