Mission San Saba is a faith based nonprofit orgainzation that strives to meet the needs of familys and individuals of San Saba by renovating their homes. Our mission is to bring glory to God by the coming together of Christ's body and showing a Christ-like love to our neighbors by caring for their needs through the sacrifice of our time, money and talents. We belive God sees the needs of the peopl

Mission San Saba was established in 2004 and since, through Gods direction, the love and suppport of our community we have been able to impact the lives of over 15 familys. "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him"

This year, while Mission San Saba takes a break from our traditional outreach event, our call to serve has never been more urgent. Recent floods have left many in our community in desperate need—and this is our opportunity to step in with the heart of Christ.

We may not be gathering in our usual ways, but the mission continues. Now more than ever, we need volunteers to help clean homes, deliver meals, distribute supplies, offer prayers, and bring hope to our neighbors who are hurting.

Be the hands and feet of Jesus. Let’s carry His love into the streets of San Saba.

💛 Step up. Show up. Serve with compassion.
For more information or to volunteer, please visit First Baptist Church for directions and instructions on where to go. There are over 100 homes in need of clean out.

"Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." – 1 John 3:18

Dear Friends in Christ,

We are so grateful for the love, prayers, and faithful support you’ve shown to Mission San Saba throughout the years. Your partnership has been a blessing, and we have seen God move in powerful ways through your generosity and service.

After prayerful consideration, we have decided to take a break from Mission San Saba this year. We believe this is a season the Lord is calling us into—a time to rest, reflect, and seek His guidance for the future of this ministry.

Thank you for being part of this mission. Your support has made a lasting impact.

With love and blessings,
The Mission San Saba Team

We finished this race well! I just can't say enough about it! Our last breakfast was made by Napolis Italian Grill and boy did they hit the ball out of the park with breakfast tacos, hash browns, and Jose's amazing breakfast pizza! Lunch was just as amazing! James, Kim and Tina Wilson out did themselves and served beef and chicken fajitas with rice, beans, chips and salsa and all the fixings! We want to thank everyone so much and from the bottom of our hearts for the outpouring of love and support that came with these meals. We also want to thank everyone in the community who brought deserts daily. All of them were wonderful. We would also like to thank the workers who helped in the kitchen. Without them, the early morning breakfasts, high noon, and supper runs would not have gone as smoothly! God is Good! All The Time!

24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. 25 Every athlete exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.

We are almost to the end of this most amazing project! This year has seemed to have gone by so quickly! Our volunteers have been working so hard to make this all come together! Our community has once again stepped up and provided wonderful food! Starting with Billy and Meredith Deeds who fed them well yesterday for breakfast with breakfast tacos made by Billy. They will also be serving supper tonight as well and we are completely grateful! Lunch was also super delicious with the Ladies of New Hope Presbyterian Church preparing some of the most wonderful sandwiches for them yesterday! Hill Country Bible Church ended their night yesterday with a Brisket Supper. This morning the lovely women of St. Mary's Catholic Church prepared a beautiful breakfast spread followed by a pizza, pasta and salad bar for lunch by Napoli's grill! God's provision through all these meals has been abundant and reminds me of the verse that follows:

“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

Matthew 6:25-26

Not only is our Father God providing this wonderful blessing to the mission family this year, but He is also providing everything that is needed to make it happen!

Blessings!
