CAMP (Community Animal Medicine Project®) is about community – providing access to affordable veterinary services in historically excluded areas helping to keep pets and their people together, where they belong. We have big news to share...

SNPLA is getting a new name to better represent our mission and all of the critically needed services we provide to our community. CAMP encompasses our vision to provide access to care and the broad range of veterinary services needed by today’s pet owners. Spay and neuter will always remain at the core of our foundation and we are well on our way to fixing the next quarter million cats and dogs in Los Angeles. Community Animal Medicine Project offers low cost spay/neuter and veterinary wellness services by appointment and discounted vaccinations and microchips, no appointment necessary. 🎉🐾 OCTOBER CAMPER OF THE MONTH: CRISTAL! 💙

“Cristal has gone above and beyond to help set up the new team for success, especially by helping me with all the protocols as a new CAMPer! Even with everything she already does, she is constantly looking for opportunities to learn and grow. No obstacle is too big or too small!”
- Gabby M.

“Congrats, Cristal! She is not only dedicated to supporting our staff, but no matter how busy things get, she always makes time to ensure our clients get the help they need for themselves and their pets.“
- Evelyn G.

Let’s give Cristal a big CAMP-style round of applause for making a difference for our team, our clients, and the pets who count on us! 🎉🐾

DAF Day 2026 is here. A nationwide celebration of generosity through Donor-Advised Funds.

When you make a DAF gift to CAMP today, you’re helping pets like Blondie, a feral orange tabby who had been born with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), leaving his immune system vulnerable from a young age. When he suddenly stopped eating and became dangerously thin, his owner Antoinette brought him to CAMP. Our vet started him on an 84-day antiviral treatment and he comes in every two weeks for weight checks. Blondie has already gained a pound and a half!

For Antoinette, 77, a retired Angeleno who had already dipped into her savings to cover Blondie’s early veterinary care, finding CAMP was a turning point. “It was reciprocal — he needed me and I needed him,” she says. “I’ve been caring for animals in my alley for years, but this one invaded my home and my heart.”

When you direct a gift from your DAF to CAMP, you help keep pets and their people together.

CAMP is so proud to be part of this national day of giving, and we hope you’ll show us what your DAF can do today!

🧡 Today your DAF can do more than ever before. Join us and be part of the movement.

📸 SEPTEMBER PHOTO DUMP! 🐾❤️

September was a BIG month at CAMP! From celebrating our community to looking ahead to CAMP’s future, here are a few moments we’re still smiling about:

🏡 We introduced CAMP’s Home Base, our $6M capital campaign to build a new headquarters and expand access to veterinary care for pets and people across LA.

🎉 We celebrated the grand opening of CAMP Northridge and welcomed even more pets and their people into the CAMP family!

❤️ We celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month and the beautiful bond between our communities, families, and pets with Nuestros Pets, Nuestra Familia.

And, of course, there were plenty of wagging tails, happy faces, and CAMP community moments along the way. 🐶🐱✨

Thank you for being part of it all. We’re so excited for what’s ahead! 💙

This month was the start of celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! We are so grateful for our community🇲🇽🌟

Our CAMP Northridge Grand Opening was filled with prizes, treats, and photo ops! 🥳 It was such a great time being able to celebrate with our community.🧡

Northridge, we’re officially open!🎉🐾 Our CAMP family celebrated the grand opening and received a Certificate of Recognition from the Office of Council member John S. Lee. We’re so grateful to serve this community! 💙

Lunch and learn with Team CAMP!

Little paws, big heart🥲💝

One blue eye, one gold eye, 100% brave at their vaccine visit💙💛💉

Double the floof, double the fun! 🎀🐶 We love our CAMP cuties!

Smile or the month award goes to… this handsome boy!😄🏆
