SNPLA is getting a new name to better represent our mission and all of the critically needed services we provide to our community. CAMP encompasses our vision

to provide access to care and the broad range of veterinary services needed by today’s pet owners. Spay and neuter will always remain at the core of our foundation and we are well on our way to fixing the next quarter million cats and dogs in Los Angeles. Meet the Vet: CELEBRATING DR. KITCHEN — Six Months at CAMP! 🎉

Dr. Kitchen is marking her six-month anniversary at CAMP, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her on our team. A passionate advocate for accessible care, she brings both skill and heart to every patient she sees — including Blondie. 🐈

“I wasn’t sure how I would continue to provide care and support for patients and staff in the current landscape of veterinary medicine — so I tried a different practice model with CAMP. I am very happy I did!”

In her own words: “There’s something about knowing you’re the last chance for these pets and their families — committing to taking a chance, commanding a skill set, and being creative about how to provide quality care. Particularly in Los Angeles, there is always an assumption that there is access to care somewhere else. But most clients can’t afford specialty care, or sometimes, even general care. Working at CAMP, I know there is no other access for our clients. Without us, these pets would not get treatment at all. Or they would be relinquished or euthanized for potentially treatable conditions. We are able to keep pets healthy, happy, and in their homes.”
