Congratulations to the 12 scholarship winners for the 2024-2025 school year. One was from Woodside High School, one from Sequoia High School, and ten were from East Palo Alto Academy.

$500.00 was presented to these wonderful student at the May 2025 meeting.

The OVY (Optimist Volunteer Youth) Camp is holding their second annual DRIVE-THRU crab and shrimp feed. Order some meals and have a feast with friends and family.

All profits benefit OVY’s summer camp tuition assistance program. The camp serves the underserved in the Bay Area.

The Woodside Octagon volunteers participated in the Trash Patrol's "Coastal Cleanup' project last weekend. They also worked the area of the Port of Redwood City and the shore surrounding the Sequoia Boat Harbor.

They found lots of 'loot' for the trash grabbers and bags on that Saturday morning, in spite of having cleaned the same area about six weeks earlier! It was a wonderful experience for them to get to know the Port of Redwood City's large area and all the recreation sites it includes! We appreciate their love in helping to beautify our local neighborhoods!
