Anita Azenet who has written award-winning scripts Tulsa '21 and Fate Has No Plan - A Short Film, is now seeking readers for the table read of her next short film currently titled ANGELITA, a true story of the traumatic experiences of a young Mexican girl who was the first in her family to attend the Anglo school in 1950’s San Marcos, Texas. At this time, we are ONLY CASTING FOR A PRIVATE TABLE READ and selection does not guarantee a role in the film. Excellent readers who are actors are preferred, but non-actors who are excellent readers should submit. There is no pay.
Date for the reading will be Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 1PM – 2:30PM in San Marcos. (Address and script will be provided upon booking.)
