We’re heading back to PQ Canyon this weekend, but this time we’ll be meeting at the west entrance at 7am. Same beautiful canyon, same Ultrabuds chaos, just a different starting point for the adventure.

Expect runnable trails, creek crossings, dirty shoes, and the usual mix of laughs, trail stories, and someone pretending this route is “mostly flat.” Come shake out the legs, get your weekend miles in, and spend your Saturday morning with good people on the trails.

Our Ultrabuds crew and community will be in full force this weekend at the inaugural Mission Trails Twilight Runs! Runners will be taking on distances of 25k and 50k starting at twilight time.

125 miles through Sedona is no joke, and our North Carolina Run Leader absolutely crushed it!

From the highs to the low moments, this race was powered by more than just training miles. It was powered by community. Watching fellow Ultrabuds show up to crew, pace, support, problem solve, laugh, encourage, and keep moving forward together is what this club is all about.

The miles are tough, but doing them surrounded by people who believe in you changes everything.

So proud of you, Mary. What an incredible accomplishment, and what an even better reminder of how special this community really is.

Group Run in San Elijo Hills!

Our next two Saturday group runs will be in the San Elijo Hills. (Don't worry, two different routes). Meet us at the San Elijo fountain for some "easy" hill climbs that you can run or power hike.

Our group is open to all levels and paces. We are here to have FUN, build community and get in some dirty miles. Come join us and bring a friend!

☀️THIS SUNDAY!

It’s been a while and we all know how much you love Raptor Ridge! An easy flat start, with a nice 1 mile climb to the top, giving you the best views of the San Pasqual Valley. Then runners are rewarded with a fast and fun downhill where you can really send it.

This is an 11 mile out and back route, but if you are not feeling the whole distance, ok to turn around sooner. The perfect route for walkers, beginners or advanced trail runners looking for a little speed.

Run Leader Josh will be welcoming the crew with knock-knock jokes and getting everyone on their way. See you Sunday at 7am! (Enjoy the extra half hour 😜).

Big weekend ahead for one of our own! 🙌

Veteran Eric Lucie () is lining up for his second attempt at the San Diego 100, and if you’ve spent any time on the trails out here, you already know what kind of human he is. He shows up everywhere. Races, group runs, aid stations. Always with a smile, always lifting other people up.

Eric earned a 2026 coaching scholarship with Maggie Guterl and the Warrior Trail Foundation. It’s been a long road of training, showing up, and putting in the work, and now it’s go time.
If you’ve ever shared miles with Eric, been cheered on by him, or just appreciate what he brings to this community, this is a great time to show that love back. Donations, encouragement, good vibes, all of it matters. Let’s rally behind him this weekend!

We LOVE posting pics! Recently our San Diego chapter took on the Mendocino 50k, one of the most beautiful 50k race courses on the west.

This past weekend our Idaho chapter ran the Weiser River 50k where we got to welcome Ultrababe Jennifer to the ULTRA CLUB!

Congrats to all the runners and a big thank you to all the volunteers and supporters along the way.
