On Saturday, November 21st, the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention (AFSP), will bring the International Survivors of Su***de Loss Day to Arroyo Grande. Knowing You Matter will host this event at Grace Bible Church (100 Rodeo Dr. in Arroyo Grande) from 9 am to 11 am. This annual event gives loss survivors (people affected by su***de loss of a loved one) a safe space to find connection, understanding, and hope. This is a free event, and light food is provided. Anyone who has lost a loved one to su***de (friends and family) are encouraged to attend. We are only 33% away from hitting our target fundraising goal now! We are so thankful for everyone who has contributed to this incredible opportunity to double our received donations through the Restoring Hope Project.
If you missed our earlier posts, Knowing You Matter was chosen for a fundraising partnership through the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation. Their Match Program has pledged to match every donation-dollar for dollar-made through the Restoring Hope Project fundraising page, with 100% of all proceeds donated directly to Knowing You Matter.
This is such a great opportunity to support Knowing You Matter and strengthen our many outreach programs. Every dollar raised will help us continue to reach more individuals and families, break the stigma surrounding su***de and mental health, and save lives by reminding people they are never alone.
