usician - Drummer [all of his life] who passed away November 27, 2008 of cancer at the age of Sixty-two (62)...and is present with My Lord Yeshua HaMashiach [Jesus Christ, the Messiah] who came personally to take him home three (3) years ago...May You [my Gilbert, my love] be resting in my Yeshua's loving arms until we see each other again at the second coming of our Lord & Saviour at HIS appointed time......Amen! ~�†┼†�~

Widowed since 11/27/2008 - Our family & friends helped my family financially from July 08 until Nov, 27, 08; ~�†┼†�~ My hubby, Gilberto Smith,Jr/Registered Pharmacist/Avid [Drummer] Musician and [A WELL LOVED] business owner of The Medicine Shoppe, 2718 N 10th Street, McAllen, TX since July 1996 until June 2007.... battled cancer for almost two (2) years. Present w-YAHWEH [in hebrew - YAHUAH]-on Thanksgiving Night at 9:22 pm. ~He reigns w/ My ABBA Father [Yahweh] & His Beloved Son ~ My Yeshua ha'Mashiach, [My Jesus Christ, the Messiah] ~�†┼†�~
My dear hubby, Gilberto Smith, Jr. [a wonderful husband, father, papi to Gillian & Lance, son, brother, uncle & friend] and I were married for 39 years, until my hubby passed away to be with our LORD YESHUA [JESUS] on Thanksgiving Night, November 27, 2008 at 9:22 pm in San Antonio, TX, after battling cancer for two (2) years and succumbing to the disease at the age of 62. During his desvastating illness, we both lived with our daughter along with my two (2) beautiful grand babies, Gillian Alexandria (8 years then, now age 11) & Lance Andrew Schmidt (7 years then, now age 10), for the duration of his devastating illness in San Antonio, TX. He was a well-known Registered Pharmacist for 39 years [and BusIness Owner of the Medicine Shoppe in McAllen, TX from July 1996 to June 2007] ... My Gilbert was quite an Avid Musician (a Great Drummer, played Cow Bells & a wonderful Conga Player) since a very young age starting in his birth hometown of Rio Grande City, TX in Starr County, helping as a young drummer for his Uncle Eliseo Smith, Jr. & his band many years ago). You may see my hubby playing his drums on youtube.com: Search for the band of Cali Carranza, and playing this special song called..... Carita de Angel [translates from spanish to english as follows:... and very appropriately translated as the ... "Face of An Angel", in this link.... you will see my hubby playing his drums at the young age of 42 @ Randy's Ballroom in San Antonio, TX, at which time this video was recorded since1989 (about twenty-two (22) years ago). I know that my hubby is present with my Lord Yeshua [my Jesus] and that HE personally came to take him to the heavenlies...along with all of our loved ones who have gone before us. Sharing some background on my family: The Lord Yeshua blessed us with only one daughter and our two beautiful, my immediate family left to go overseas on or about September 6, 2009 shortly after my hubby's passing, as they were stationed at Lackland AFB, in San Antonio, TX.... They will be stationed overseas for a four (4) year stint of duty in the Air Force. My hubby Gilberto wanted very much to be cancer free, as he wanted all of us to travel overseas together & live with our daughter & her family in Germany... But it was not God's plan for his life. Hopefully, I plan to join and visit them periodically and God willing, very soon. I presently live in the Lower Rio Grande Valley in Texas, & moved from McAllen, TX back to my principal residence in San Juan, TX [ our home built in 1981.] My present plans for my future is to be a full time online Internet Marketer, as this has always been a passion of mine. My main goal in life is to become financially independent online in order to help other cancer patients in need and also widows like myself and those who are confronted with similar circumstances that my hubby and I endured until he was diagnosed with colo-rectal cancer on or about December 5, 2007, in San Antonio, TX. We now have 2 of 3 Pomeranian (dogs) and a cat [passed away]. Maxie, Nicky, Gizmo [passed away] & my cat's name was Biscuit (all males). My cat was a beautiful Himalayan feline exactly like the cat that you have seen in the movie " Meet the Parents." But my cat was by far more beautiful. Our wedding day on June 14, 1969 at St. John's Parish in San Juan, TX....a lovely summer day full of Joy, Peace & Love...Thank you Lord for the time that you gave me with my Gilbert....We had our ups and downs, as any marriage has, but you were always there for us to guide us and lead us along the way to do what was right in your sight and pleasing always. Take care of my hubby, my Gilbert, my Love, sweet Yeshua [Jesus] until we see each other again at YOUR appointed TIME and PLACE at the Second Coming of Our Lord & Saviour.
