Sorry for the late notice, but if you are free tomorrow night, please try and make the Parks, Rec and Community Services Meeting Monday, June 15, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. in San Juan Capistrano Council Chambers located at the Community Center, 25925 Camino Del Avion, San Juan Capistrano. The Open Space Foundation has proposed Trail Signage for the San Juan Creek Trails please refer to the Commission agenda, E1. This agenda item should be of interest to all those that enjoy our beautiful trails, whether you are a rider or a hiker.

Horses at In-N-Out? Only in San Juan Capistrano!

We’re excited to share these photos of local riders and their horses stopping by the San Juan Capistrano and making use of the hitching post. A special thank you to Andrew Stroscher for installing the hitching post, helping preserve and celebrate the equestrian traditions that make our community so unique.

If you’d like to learn more about San Juan Capistrano’s history, join Andrew on Sunday, June 14, for the final presentation in the Speaker Series.

Andrew will take attendees on a journey through San Juan Capistrano’s late 19th- and 20th-century history, exploring the city’s growth and evolution with a special focus on East Downtown and the people, places, and events that helped shape the community we know today.

A huge thank you to Four Leaf Clover Studio for the incredible floral arrangements at the Inaugural Capistrano Polo Classic 🌸✨

The flowers were a true showstopper, and guests couldn’t stop asking about them throughout the day. We also loved giving attendees the opportunity to take arrangements home at the end of the evening and continue enjoying their beauty.

Beyond the florals, she also created the beautifully hand-painted saddle and helmet displayed at the event, showcasing her remarkable artistic talent and adding an extra-special touch to the occasion.

Thank you for helping make the day so memorable with your creativity and vision.

⚠️ Important meeting for the equestrian community on May 18th ⚠️

The Parks, Equestrian & Community Services Commission will be discussing proposed trail signage changes along the San Juan Creek Trail system. This is an important issue that could impact trail access, safety, and the overall trail experience for riders.

If you care about protecting and preserving our equestrian trails, please come out and make your voice heard.
