FOUND*SJ is a permanent rummage and reuse hub created by Preservation Action Council of San José (PAC*SJ). More than a shop, FOUND*SJ is a gathering place.

FOUND*SJ is PAC*SJ’s rummage & reuse hub in downtown San José, turning donated goods into treasures that support historic preservation, sustainability, and community events. After years of one-day rummage sales and pop-ups, we’re building a dedicated space to keep useful materials out of landfills, celebrate local history, and support PAC*SJ’s preservation work. Located at Creekside at 57 Barack Obama Boulevard, FOUND*SJ is where you’ll find an ever-changing mix of secondhand furnishings, household materials, décor, books, and curiosities. We’ll host talks, art shows, workshops, and community events that highlight San José’s past while inspiring more sustainable futures. Every purchase directly supports PAC*SJ’s mission to preserve and reuse the historic places that tell our city’s story. Donate, volunteer, or just come treasure-hunting—FOUND*SJ is where good stuff gets a second life and a good cause gets stronger.

Important information about today ‼️.
Thursday, October 1st is the SJ Sharks opening day ceremonies GO SHARKS 🦈
Our portion of the street is open for vehicles, but might get crowded.
PARKING INSTRUCTIONS-
there will be an attendant at the w San Fernando parking gate directing everyone to enter through 105. You just need to say that you’re going to FoundSJ and they’ll be directed to park in the Creekside spots and just pay the usual $1.95 or $5.50.
We’ve restocked the store for you, so well worth it to come by!! We’ll be open 4-7pm and looking forward to seeing you ♥️

Materials Included - All Skill Levels Welcome
Come join artist Suhita Shirodkar in a watercolor workshop designed for all levels and inspired by all the gorgeous treasures at Found SJ.

In this workshop you will paint a small still life in watercolor while learning the basics of drawing from observation. The workshop focuses on using a technique called grisaille, which helps you understand form and create dimension. Bring your watercolor supplies if you have them, but if you don’t, there will be palettes and brushes you can borrow and pigments for your use.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Suhita Shirodkar is a mixed media artist and educator with a practice strongly rooted in drawing. Her work records the world around her, both the ordinary and the unfamiliar, through fresh eyes. You can see more of her work on instagram at Suhita
