Future Speakers Initiative is coming to Holy Cross NEXT WEEK!
The Future Speakers Initiative (FSI) is a youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to making speech and debate education accessible to students from underprivileged communities. We offer in-person events and online bootcamps with an aim to not only expose middle school students to speech and debate, but to encourage them to advocate about causes they are passionate about and become leaders in their communities.
Future Speakers Initiative (FSI) will be holding a free bootcamp for Students Entering Grades 6-8 who want to learn and train in the world of Speech & Debate. If you are interested yourself, or know someone who might be interested, please see below.
This one-day workshop is designed to help students build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and explore the fundamentals of persuasive speaking and debate. Through engaging activities, games, and collaborative exercises, students will learn how to organize their thoughts, speak with clarity, and respond effectively under pressure—skills that benefit them both in and out of the classroom.
Whether your child is brand new to public speaking or already loves the spotlight, this bootcamp offers a welcoming space to grow their voice, connect with peers, and have fun while learning.
