Mooni, a sweet 5-year-old dog, is fighting for her life after a house fire in San Jose. She’s been through so much—suffering burns, smoke inhalation, and pneumonia—and her medical bills have already exceeded $8,000. Her owner, who just moved back to town and is unemployed, has exhausted their resources trying to save her. 🐶🔥

Thanks to the quick actions of San Jose firefighters, Mooni was rescued, but she still needs ongoing critical care to give her the best chance at recovery. Every donation will go directly toward her treatment, helping her get the care she needs to heal.

Please consider donating or sharing her story—your support can make a real difference for Mooni during this tough time. Even a small contribution or a quick share can help us reach more people who want to help. 🙏

Thank you so much for your kindness and compassion.

On April 16, San Jose Firefighters Random Acts (SJFRA) brought a morning of fun and surprise to local students! After a routine fire drill, firefighters and SJFRA members welcomed students outside, where crews from Truck 2 and Engine 2 distributed 150 playground balls, 32 hula hoops, and 40 jump ropes—turning an ordinary morning into something unforgettable!

Teachers received books they had personally selected from their classroom wish lists, each one including a handwritten, motivational message from a San Jose firefighter—written specifically for the students who will be reading them. In addition, every teacher was given a $100 Amazon gift card to purchase materials to support their classrooms, and a ball cart was donated to support PE classes.

The impact of the event even made it onto the news!
