[October 3, 2025] The Cupertino-Toyokawa Sister Cities (CTSC), in partnership with the Cupertino Union School District (CUSD) and the City of Cupertino, proudly welcomed the visiting 2025 Toyokawa student delegation in a wonderful evening celebration at the Cupertino Community Hall.
The event featured warm remarks from CTSC President Alysa Sakkas, CUSD Assistant Superintendent Allison Linear, Vice Consul Takumi Kuroiwa of the Consulate-General of Japan in San Francisco, and the Japanese Delegation Lead Makoto Fujii. They shared heartfelt words emphasizing long-lasting friendship, inclusive collaboration, and shared hope for the future between our two cities.These enduring exchanges continue to strengthen the people-to-people connections at the heart of CTSC’s mission — fostering mutual understanding, respect, and friendship across cultures.
