Our 3rd Annual Fundraiser was everything and more — and it's all because of you. ✨
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who showed up, gave, and poured love into this night. Your presence means more than words can ever capture. A huge, heartfelt thank you to Kaldi’s Social House Arlington for creating the most beautiful space for us to gather — you made the day truly special.
And to our beautiful Yemi — everything we do, we do with you in our hearts. Always and forever. 🤍
This community never stops amazing us. Stay close, because we have big things coming for 2026 — you won't want to miss what's next.
With so much love, The Yemi Getachew Foundation 🧡

Happy Heavenly Birthday Yemi 🌷You would have been celebrating with us this week — and instead, we celebrate you.

Your laugh. Your passion. Your relentless belief that every person deserves justice, care, and a fighting chance.

Four days from now, on June 6, we honor you the best way we know how — by doing exactly what you would have done. Gathering people together and getting to work. RSVP: https://givebutter.com/yemi-getachew-foundation-fund-raiser3

We miss you every single day. 🧡

Look at what love looks like in action. 🧡
From our inaugural memorial walkathon through the streets of San Jose, to our 2nd annual walkathon, to our birthday fundraiser — the YGF community keeps showing up. Every step. Every dollar. Every shared memory of Yemi. Since 2023, we've been doing this together — and this June 6th, we do it again. Bigger. Louder. With more heart than ever.
Let's go. 🙌

Today, we cut the ribbon on the Pediatric Hematology Oncology Outpatient Ward at 5tegna Cancer Center in Addis Ababa — and our hearts are full. 💛🖤
Renovated by Yemi Getachew Foundation in collaboration with Lions Club Hibret and TAPCCO, this space is now ready to serve Ethiopia's bravest young fighters with the care and dignity they deserve. 🎗️
To every child who walks through these doors — we built this for you.
