It’s that time of year, banners going up this week along highway 70 thanks to Plumas county facilities. Banners in Safeway shopping center go up on the 1st thanks to Quincy Fire.
Downtown banners also to be placed on the 1st by local volunteers. Thank you all for the support!!

We get to add a couple new banners this year off of the wait list. I appreciate that people are willing to wait for a banner. Space Is tricky and the availability of a bucket truck-those are hard to find.
If you know anyone that would like to donate time and a bucket truck to place banners for Veterans day please let me know. Even placing a few would help. Right now we rely on the kindess of county facilities, the Quincy fire department and my husband (for the 20 down town).
This year we are replacing 3 existing banners from main street. They will be ready to go up 11/1.

Highway of Heroes is a Quincy based nonprofit that organizes the military banners that go up each November (11/1-30) to honor Veterans during the month of Veteran’s Day.
We (my husband and I ) are thankful for the support of Plumas County Facilities and Quincy Fire Department for helping us place the banners each year. Additionally to the county for allowing our permit downtown in the month of November each year.
