Peninsula Food Runners efficiently rescues surplus food, reduces waste, and delivers nourishing meals to people facing food insecurity.

Peninsula Food Runners picks up excess perishable and prepared food from businesses such as restaurants, caterers, bakeries, hospitals, event planners, corporate cafeterias, and hotels and delivers it directly to shelters and neighborhood programs that feed the hungry.

Here's a true example of our community in action 💚

Food Runner, Roji built his own cart to help move rescued produce from the Serramonte Farmers Market to his car, making it easier to deliver fresh fruits and vegetables to a local school’s food pantry.

It’s small acts of creativity and kindness like this that help us fight food waste and nourish our community. Thank you, Roji, for going the extra mile! 🍎🥕🚚
