Rise Prep, an independent high school rooted in the Bayview Hunters Point district of SF, enfolds scholars with an academically rigorous education and supportive college-bound environment. 80% of our seats are reserved for low-income, first generation to college or Bayview resident scholars. To be affordable to a broad range of families, up to 90% of our tuition costs are funded by scholarships. W

The GOAT 🐐 is off to big Berk!! Michelle, our kind hearted 💞 , funny 😜, intelligent 🤓, curly queen 👑 is heading across the Bay 🌉 for her next four. Michelle is an amazing level headed student council member, serving as our secretary 👩🏻‍💼, and a four year yearbook club member 📓📸! She’s also actively molding the minds of the future as a tutor for young students 🧑‍🎓📚. As well as challenging others to learn, Michelle also loves to learn herself! She participated in UCSF HIP 🧑‍🔬⚗️🥼 and presented her scientific findings 📈📊📉 to a conference in San Diego! This woman in STEM 🔬🧪 also does work to integrate art into science 🎨➡️🧪. As a TA for art class and an amazing artist 🎨🖼️🖌️, Michelle wrote a 30 page research paper about the importance of teaching art and science as one. Our baller 🏀 is taking his talents🤩 and skills ⚡into an electrifying future 🔌!! You know who it is… IT’S DARREN!! When he’s not draining shots 🏀🔥 on the court, you can find Darren out in the garden 🌿 bringing things to life 🌏and making everything grow 🌼. A key part of the gardening club 🌱and a standout athlete 💪, and an amazing friend🫰, Darren shows up with dedication🫡, heart ❤️, and consistency🤌 in everything he does!! Darren will be stepping🚶 into the world of becoming an electrician ⚡🔧- building 🪚, fixing 🔨, and powering 🔌 what’s ahead ➡️ with his hands 🤲 and his hustle 💥. Our niche 🥸 king🤴 is heading down south⬇️ to his original birthplace to attend UCLA🐻💙💛!!! Living every day like it’s 2016 💞 with his iPod classic 📲, wired headphones 🎧, and vintage device 🎥. You know who it is ITS JADER!! When he’s not scavenging 👀 at the thrift 🛍️ for that drip💧, you can find Jader planning 🤔 out his next elaborate art installation 🤖 or on adventures 🚞 with friends as the “digi cam friend”📸. Jader will be majoring in Art 🎨 taking his 3% 🤯 acceptance rate and going FAR! ✈️ During the school year, Jader is a College Track 🧑‍🏫 Scholar, student council 🧑‍⚖️ class representative, and an important 🫡 part of yearbook club 📓. But summer 🌞 is when he participates in his true calling- CAMP🏕️! Jader LOVES 😍 his beloved Camp Mendocino, where he is a top notch🤌 camp counselor🥾 and fun🤪 role model🫡 for all his kids. QUACK QUACK Jayden is a duck 🦆! As a psychology major Jayden will be taking his education to the UNIVERSITY OF OREGON 👏🎉!!!! Don’t let his height 📏and long dreads fool you, because Jayden is one of the most sweet ☺️ and chalant people you will ever meet. If you run into Jayden in the wild, expect him to jump for joy 😂 and give the best hug 🫂 with a huge smile on his face 😃. As an extremely athletic person you can find Jayden hooping around 🏀⛹️, running the 400 in track 🏃, and scoring goals left and right ⚽🥅. You can also find Jayden singing his heart out in the Choir 🎤🎶 leading the base section. He also attends 100% college preps 💯🎓 and works hard in gardening club 🌿🌱 caring for the wildlife around us 🦆. Rajko will be taking his education to SF State as a Business major! As a Pokémon 😍 fanatic, you can catch Rajko buying 💸 and appreciating a large collection of rare Pokémon cards 🃏. With his cute cats Shakira 🐱 and Pickles 🐈‍⬛, Rajko is a master of animal photography 📸 and loves making everyones day by sharing pictures online 🖼️🐈. Rajko was a key part of the Mesa club 🤖 where he built professional paper airplanes ✈️ and competed with other schools in the state. His team won multiple competitions 🏅 and went regional ⭐!! He was also part of a knitting club 🧶🪡 where he created beautiful pieces of knitted art 🖼️ and connected with students in all grades 🏫. In his freetime Rajko likes building legos 👷, specifically lego ninjago ones 🥷, playing video games 🎮 and watching lego ninjago. We hope you enjoy your time at SF State and make amazing friends and have a lot of new fun. GOOO GATORS!!!

Heading to Boston University ❤️🤍 to discover his interests and travel the world 🌎 with guaranteed study abroad sounds like the perfect way for him to spend his next four!! A track star🏃, gym rat 💪, dragon boat warrior 🐉🚣, Ultimate Impact frisbee tosser - Caleb is ready to find new niche activities and face new challenges. When he is not sleeping 😴 he is playing video games 🎮 or working out 🏋️ you can find Caleb hitting the trails on hikes 🚵 or on rock climbing adventures🧗. Caleb is ready to scout the campus and meet new friends! We hope you find a new cafe☕ to replace Mission Blue in your heart and eat many salads🥗 with a with a side of Spinach 🥬 NOT (iykyk 😉!)
