Event Timeframe: ~4 hours
Have you ever wanted to watch the fireworks from Angel Island State Park?! Well now is your chance! Leave the crowds behind and Celebrate the 4th of July on Angel Island. Kick back in Ayala Cove to enjoy Live Music, Food and Drinks. This special ticket includes round trip ferry service to Angel Island via Tiburon and a round trip Tram ride from Ayala Cove to Battery Ledyard for an unforgettable view of the fireworks show. Since we can’t control the weather, additional activities will be happening at the viewing platform just in case “Karl” pays us a visit. There will not be service via San Francisco this year.

ABOUT
North of Boston lies Marblehead, a historic village with old crooked streets - Birthplace of the American Navy, a village that once titled “Yachting Capital of the World”. With a natural deep-water harbor, and more grand yacht clubs than anywhere on the planet, Marblehead earned its reputation. Home to all things nautical from yacht designers and builders to world famous skippers – it all happened in this curious coastal town 14 miles north of Boston.

At the turn of the century Americans flocked to this rustic outcropping to enjoy summer on the water.Fred L. Woods Jr. was the son of a prominent Boston yachtsman and the Woods Family would make the annual pilgrimage to enjoy a summer of sailing. As a child, Fred sailed at the Pleon Junior Yacht Club, later he enrolled at Tabor Academy, and then the U.S. Naval becoming Lt. Commander.

Celebrate the Fourth of July in Tiburon!

The fun kicks off early with a Pooch Parade at 4:00 p.m. featuring the peninsula’s most adorable canine companions – YOURS! Starting at the corner of Beach Road and Tiburon Boulevard, the parade winds through Ark Row and Lower Main Street before finishing at Fountain Plaza where you can snap a photo with your four-legged friend before going on to celebrate America’s 250th with a Community Block Party on Main Street!

Parade participants will receive a special gift courtesy of the Tiburon Chamber. All dogs are welcome, but they must be well-behaved, comfortable in crowds and leashed, as there will be many dogs present.

Enjoy and be awed with unique views from the water, including the breathtaking sights of Tiburon, Belvedere, Sausalito, San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island, and the surrounding areas. Bring your own dinner for a picnic on the bay! Tables and chairs are provided outside and inside .

Cruises depart Tiburon at 6:30 pm and return at 8:00 pm.
