The ICC Trans+ Empowerment Committee warmly invites all courtiers attending The Royal Sovereign Imperial Court of the Texas Riviera Empire, to join us in Hospitality for Trans+ Coffee Talk. This facilitated gathering offers a welcoming and affirming space to connect, learn, and engage in meaningful dialogue. Together, we will explore the experiences and challenges facing the transgender, nonbinary, and gender-expansive community, while providing an open forum for thoughtful questions and shared understanding.

Pride Month carries a deeper meaning this year. At a time when many in our 2SLGBTQIA community, especially our transgender and nonbinary siblings, are facing unprecedented legislative attacks, simply existing openly and authentically is an act of courage.

We celebrate Pride not because the fight is over, but because it is not! Pride is a reminder of those who came before us, who stood up in the face of hostility and demanded to be seen, heard, and valued. It is also a call to action for all of us, to stand together, to protect one another, and to ensure that dignity, safety, and equality are not conditional. This month, and every month, we honor the resilience, brilliance, and humanity of all 2SLGBTQIA individuals.

Today, we stand together in recognition of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia. A day to affirm that every person deserves to live safely, openly, and with dignity, free from fear, discrimination, or violence. This day reminds us that inclusion is not a slogan it is a responsibility.

We honor the resilience of 2SLGBTQIA+ people everywhere. We celebrate the power of authenticity, and recommit ourselves to building communities where love, identity, and humanity are respected.

Visibility matters. Solidarity matters. Equality matters!

The ICC Trans+ Empowerment Committee would like to remind everyone that during this Mental Health Awareness Month, it’s especially important to check in on our trans+ siblings, who are facing unprecedented attacks and stressors. A simple message, a moment of care, or helping connect someone to support can make a real difference. You are not alone, you deserve to be safe, seen, and supported.

Trans+ History Week is a week-long reflective period dedicated to learning about and celebrating the momentous, millennia old history of transgender, non-binary, gender-diverse, and intersex people.

This week is more than remembrance its recognition. Trans+ people have existed across cultures and throughout history, contributing to art, leadership, resistance movements, and community building, often in the face of erasure and discrimination.

Honoring trans+ history means reclaiming stories that were silenced, uplifting voices that were marginalized, and affirming that trans+ people have always been here, and always will be.

By engaging with Trans+ History Week, we deepen our understanding, strengthen solidarity, and help ensure that this history is preserved, respected, and carried forward.

Trans visibility is not optional …..it is essential!

In a world that too often tries to erase us, being visible is an act of resistance. Every trans and nonbinary person who lives openly, speaks boldly, and takes up space is doing something radical: they are refusing to disappear. And that refusal changes things. It changes minds. It changes laws. It changes what a child growing up thinks is possible for their own life. When we are represented, protected, and celebrated, we don’t just survive, we transform entire communities. Visibility fuels truth. It dismantles misinformation.

But visibility cannot be built on exclusion and called justice. Equity cannot be partial and called equity. So we will keep showing up. We will keep speaking out. We will make the invisible impossible to ignore, until equality is not something debated in chambers or argued in courts, but something every person simply has.
