Belinda Chlouber - Fine Art Contemporary Poetic Paintings dealing with contemporary issues: http://www.belindachlouber.com/

Within much of my work I explore the idea of transformation, communication, love and loss through the poetry and writings of my mother, Carla Chlouber and her father my grandfather, Arthur Sweet. My mixed media paintings utilize fabrics, stitching and monoprints. I love to explore ideas throughout history and consider myself a humanitarian who through my chosen medium of painting hope in some small way to help make things better in the world.

Belinda Chlouber - Fine Art is a mixed-media artist and, her work has explored humanity's relationship with nature — communication, compassion, sustainability, and legacy. After cochlear implants in 2015, a chance encounter with Naomi Klein's "This Changes Everything" deepened her focus on the climate crisis. She holds a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute and hopes her art contributes to a culture where all life can thrive.

Belinda is the curator of the exhibitions showing at the CfC from March - April 2026 titled Making Waves: Currents of Change, which celebrates women artists
and environmental consciousness during Women's History Month and Earth Day. The exhibition brings together a group of women with diverse artistic perspectives that examine the climate crisis, ecological relationships, and humanity's impact on our planet.

Belinda's work, “Silence, Listen”, is exhibiting through April 26, 2026.

Inspired by the 6000 Circle Project, Ebb & Flow is a community installation honoring the circle as a symbol of balance, unity, and feminine energy — much like water itself, the life force at the heart of our environmental future. Individual circles cascade along the stairwell, weaving personal expressions into collective environmental consciousness created by Shirley Abraham, Barbara Bolls-Guillory, Oona Gargan Cadorin, Mei C. Chen, Belinda Chlouber, Norah S. Christmann, Renee Fadiman, Karen Fahrner, Rona Foster, Beth Mattsson, Robin McCloskey, Suda Miller, Liz Noerdlinger, Katherine Relf-Canas, Anu Sanghvi, Purvi Shah, Danya Shegoleff, Ginger Slonaker, Terry Tsu, & Jacqueline Wender.

Ebb & Flow is exhibiting as a part of Making Waves: Currents of Change at the CfC through April 26, 2026.

I’m so happy with this exhibition! It was a real pleasure to see it all come together.

I’m so happy to have two pieces of artwork in the Perch, Flutter, Soar exhibition at the MONCA Museum in Chico, CA. There will be an opening reception at monca on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 5-8PM. All opening receptions are free and open to the public. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar. Get your friends together for a fun evening out at the museum!

The Museum of Northern California Art is proud to present Perch, Flutter, Soar, our annual bird-themed exhibition which will take place during the 2026 Snow Goose Festival of the Pacific Flyway. The exhibition will be on view from Thursday, January 22, 2026 - Sunday, March 15, 2026.

“The Pacific Flyway ranks as one of the greatest migratory pathways in the entire world, stretching from the Bering Strait off the coast of Alaska to the steeps of Patagonia in South America. Millions of birds representing hundreds of species use this great avian highway each year, and nowhere is this abundance of wildlife more accessible than right here in the Northern Sacramento Valley.” - Snow Goose Festival Overview

The Snow Goose Festival of the Pacific Flyway celebrates this legendary migration by hosting exciting educational workshops, field trips, and lectures. This year is the 26th annual Snow Goose Festival and it will begin with a banquet hosted at the Bell Memorial Union on Chico State campus on Saturday, January 24, 2026. View all of the field trip offerings here. Check out the workshops here.

If you can’t make it to the opening reception, make sure to visit during the museum’s open hours, Thursday - Sunday, 11AM-5PM.
