In response to the alarming escalation in xenophobia and bigotry resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Asian Pacific Planning and Policy Action (A3PCON), Chinese for Affirmative Action (CAA), and the Asian American Studies Department of the San Francisco State University launched the Stop AAPI Hate reporting center. The center tracks and responds to incidents of hate, violence, harassment, discrimination, shunning, and child bullying against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in the United States. Friends of the San Francisco Public Library is a diverse community of individuals, families and institutions who love our San Francisco Public Library and work to make it exceptional. They champion free public access to information, resources and opportunities for all people. They envision the future of our libraries as robust centers of 21st Century literacy, economic opportunity, life-long learning, discovery and community life. The mission of the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library is to strengthen, support and advocate for a premier public library system in San Francisco.

As children from low income areas continue to struggle with challenges such as mental health and substandard public education, First Tee - San Francisco is focused and determined to provide all resources necessary to build character, resilience, and confidence to guide them down a brighter road ahead. Their mission and purpose are more critical than ever and we hope you will consider joining us in supporting First Tee - San Francisco this year as we strive to raise funds for their impactful programs.

First Tee - San Francisco opened its doors in 2004 welcoming the youth of San Francisco. Now, First Tee - San Francisco is located at 4 different sites around the San Francisco Bay Area and serving over 15,000 youth in our community.
