I'm thrilled and honored to share with our community members and friends that the Anders and Anders Foundation has been blessed to welcome two remarkable individuals, Ms. Meg-Anne Pryor and Mr. Pierre Middleton-Baez, as our official board members. They have generously offered their expertise as community advisors, and we couldn't be more grateful.

This past week marked the anniversary of the loss of our dear community treasure, Mindy. It's been a tough and trying time for our organization without her, but our amazing community has been there for us every step of the way. Over the years, they have supported us, and now they are giving back to us by supporting our causes.

I know that eventually, the time will come when I must pass the torch, but for now, I am grateful to have these young community leaders by my side, helping me continue this vital work until the very end. They are a true treasure to our organization, and I am thrilled to have them on board.

Getting the word out.

Did you know BDFP’s very own Tyrone Evans and Terry Anders, from our partner organization Anders & Anders Foundation, worked on projects on the original Southeast Treatment Plant? Now they are helping bring others from the Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood on the job to update the facility through the BDFP Neighborhood Hiring Initiative.

Anders and Anders Foundation is excited to announce Johanna Le-Penn has started her own consulting business called CoEdge, LLC. Johanna Le-Penn is stepping down from Anders and Anders CityBuild Programming. Johanna will continue to support A&A in a collaboration in pursuit of serving the criminal justice system through other channels.
It has been a pleasure supporting the organization and look forward to our new endeavors.

The Food Bank can help you find free food resources in SF and Marin. Free food is available at close to 300 weekly pantries around the bay.

This past Christmas season during a challenging time with the Coronavirus, Anders & Anders Foundation, and CCDS partners along with other community based organizations and our very own Citybuild Graduates volunteered for the Annual SF Christmas Tree Giving Event where we passed out Christmas trees to families who were financially struggling to the point where a tree might not even make it or be the last thing on their Christmas list. THANK YOU all for volunteering and making this event special for everyone. Keep the good deeds coming.
