We are conducting an in-depth interview study about how people form identities around alternative sexual practices, and the place those identities hold in their lives. You can help us find out more by:

(1) Participating in the study. We are looking for people 18 years or older, who self-identify as kinky, and are a resident of Northern California. If you participate in the study, you will be inte

rviewed by one of our research team members, and the interview will take 1 ½ to 2 hours. Interviews will be done at a time and place convenient to you. We will ask about how you identify, what kink/BDSM/leather community means to you, coming out as kinky, turning points and key moments in your life journey as a kinky person, and your values and worldview.
