Have you ever wanted to be in a parade? How about being in a parade with a half-million spectators in person and on TV? Join the Spirit of Sunnyvale on Saturday, February 15 for the 2025 SF Chinese New Year Parade and entertain the huge crowds. Complete the Interest Form at https://forms.gle/gJ55T5CLjLNC7zdK8
Here's the details for the parade:
- Saturday, February 15
- Rehearsal will be at Parkside Middle School in San Bruno (1801 Niles Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066) 10AM-1PM (we probably won't go that long)
- Reconvene after rehearsal in downtown SF - parking available at the Hearst Parking Center at 3rd and Stevenson Streets (45 3rd St, San Francisco, CA 94103 above California Pizza Kitchen)
- Warm up and assemble area TBD (around 2nd and Market)
- This year is the Year Of The Snake, so we're playing Whitesnake's Here I Go Again. You can get the music here: https://spiritofsunnyvale.org/members/2025-cny-here-i-go-again.html
- Uniform: you provide - red top (red dress shirt or jacket or sweater), black pants, black shoes
- The parade is 2 miles long and goes through Downtown, Union Square, and Chinatown
