SF Urban Riders is a 501c3 non-profit, our Mission is to create better recreational cycling opportunities for youth of all ages and abilities in San Francisco. Our emphasis is working with other local organizations to revitalize underutilized and neglected urban areas and open space, with the goal of creating sustainable open space recreation for all San Franciscans. We value outdoor recreation, encourage physical fitness and the development of bicycle skills for all ages, abilities and styles of riding.

Saturday July 11 as a One City Day, a citywide day of service in San Francisco. Volunteering enriches our lives and the communities, human and natural, that we dwell in. Livable City presents Sunday Streets, the city's longest-running open streets program, which is made possible by volunteers. We are also the fiscal sponsor for seven community projects, and three of them are hosting volunteer work days this Saturday July 11.
* Friends of Oak Woodlands' monthly work party stewarding Golden Gate Park's historic and biodiverse Oak Woodlands; 9:30 to noon at the Horseshoe Courts on Conservatory Drive East.
* Diamond Heights Boulevard Median Project will be replanting and tending flowering plants in the Diamond Heights Blvd. median from 9 AM to noon, meeting at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 395 Addison Street.
* SF Urban Riders and Crosstown Trail are hosting trail and habitat work on Laguna Honda Hospital's volunteer-created trail network from 9 am to noon, meeting at Mountview Court & Panorama Drive.
